So why race with V24?

The V-24 is an international approved high performance gulled-wing race boat designed by the renowned race boat designer, Ocke Mannerfelt.

These boats have been specifically designed for close inshore racing and provide an amazing visual spectacle as boats reach speeds of up to 80mph weaving through a tight and demanding course or just screaming along the straights by the shore.

V24's run to strict one-design race rules, with no modifications allowed to the boats or engines; the competition is tight and always fiercely fought.

The V24 has a full racing canopy and built in safety cell. This is the only UIM approved one design canopied race boat in the World.

The throbbing inboard engine that is used started life as a Chevrolet small block 5.7 litre V8. This is the mighty engine that powers the famous Chevrolet Corvette. It has been made sea worthy by Volvo Penta to make this the ideal partner for this awesome boat.

The boat is only 24 foot long and weights 1250kg, giving a fantastic power to weight ratio of 280BHP per ton.
